Meet Your Teacher:

Miss Jasmine!

Picture of teacher

Hi, I’m Miss Jasmine—a passionate early childhood educator and literacy specialist who believes every child deserves to feel confident, capable, and excited to learn.

I specialize in early literacy because I understand the importance of a strong reading foundation and how it shapes children into confident readers and thinkers in the years ahead. With the growing need for stronger reading skills, I am intentional about helping children develop a deep understanding of phonemic and phonological awareness from the very beginning. That is the heart behind what we do at Sproutify.

While literacy is a strong focus, I believe in nurturing the whole child: spirit, soul, and body. Through faith, character development, social-emotional learning, play-based exploration & creative expression, intentional movement, nature-inspired themes, and explicit instruction, we create a balanced environment where children are supported, challenged, and fully prepared for what’s next.

My approach is shaped by both education and experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s in Elementary Education. I also hold a current Georgia state certification in Elementary Education and have been trained in the Science of Reading. In addition, I bring nearly a decade of experience teaching children ages 2 to 12, which has given me a strong understanding of how children learn and how to effectively support their academic and cognitive growth.

I would love the opportunity to nurture, guide, and support your child as they grow in confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. 🌱

Top 10 Reasons You'll Love sproutify

Check Out Our Premier Program!

#1: We are purpose-driven

We don’t just teach—we nurture each child’s purpose, identity, and love for learning through intentional relationships, individualized support, and faith-centered values.

#2: Early Literacy Focus

We build a strong foundation in reading through phonemic awareness, language development, small group instruction, and hands-on learning.

We are committed to closing the reading gap in the South Fulton area—one child at a time.

#3: A Nurturing, Faith-Based Environment

Faith is at the root of what we do. While we honor each family’s beliefs, we create a space where prayer is welcomed, faith is expressed, and biblical values—such as the Fruit of the Spirit—are gently woven into our daily experiences.

#4: Small group, Intentional Instruction

Your child won't get lost in the crowd! They will receive individualized instruction through our targeted small group learning model, thorough assessments, and high-quality curriculum. Your child will be guided in the areas they need to improve and will be challenged when they’re ready for more.

#5: We keep your child healthy & safe!

Teaching children is a huge responsibility, and we take that responsibility seriously! Not only are we state licensed and CPR/1st Aid Certified, but our distinct policies and procedures regarding health and safety help to keep your child in a safe, clean environment. We’re constantly cleaning, washing hands, and monitoring all activities to prevent any accidents.

#6: Learning Through Play & Exploration

Children learn best through doing. At Sproutify, your child won't be confined to a desk the entire time. They will explore, discover, create, and engage in meaningful play.

#7: Nature-Inspired Learning Themes

We’re not called Sproutify for no reason. Children explore the world around them through weekly nature-based themes, outdoor experiences, and hands-on projects and experiments.

Nature isn’t just something we do—it’s woven into our culture. Through our focus on the Fruit of the Spirit, children are not only growing academically, but also in character. Each month, we highlight a specific fruit, encouraging children to learn, practice, and reflect that value in their daily interactions.

At the end of each month, one student is recognized as our “Fruit Bearer” for demonstrating that character trait with consistency and heart.

#8: Your child gets a shirt and portfolio!

Each year, your child will receive a different t-shirt for that school year to wear on Spirit Days. We also save some of your child’s artwork for a special portfolio you get at graduation.

#9: Parent Communication

Communication is a priority at Sproutify. Through ClassDojo, we keep families connected with real-time updates, fun photos, helpful reminders, and quick, direct messaging—so you never miss a moment of your child’s growth.

#10: We celebrate with graduation!

Bring your entire family to our yearly graduation where we celebrate your child's accomplishments in a big way! It'll be a night to remember! Your child will graduate every year, so be sure to bring your entire family for a fun family experience for free!

When should I call to register my child?

It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!

When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?

We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May) and a 2-month summer camp (June-July). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.

How old does my child need to be to attend?

Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 (and "independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1. Summer camp is for children who are ages 3-6 by June 1.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

Yes.  If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call.  We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you.  It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids.  We’re here to help!

What is your teaching philosophy?

We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Spiritual, Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum, Heggerty, and Play2Read. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!

Are there additional fees during the year?

Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program.  Your child will also receive at no extra cost: a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Day, a small welcome kit, and a graduation portfolio! Field trips and special experiences are thoughtfully planned throughout the year. While many activities are included, some may require a small additional fee to cover admission and transportation.

What if my child has food restrictions?

No worries.  Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies.  We ask these families to bring in their own snacks and lunches, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.

Does Sproutify provide breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks?

Sproutify provides snacks. At this time, we do not provide breakfast or lunch. Students are asked to bring their own lunch and are encouraged to eat breakfast before arrival.

Is the registration fee refundable?

No.

How many students do you have per class?

Classes have no more than 10 students.
